Digital Millennium Copyright Act — takedown notice procedures.

Copyright Policy

Arara respects intellectual property rights and expects our developers and users to do the same. We respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement and follow the procedures set out in the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.

Filing a Takedown Notice

If you believe content on Arara infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent at dmca@arara.app with the following information:

  • Your full legal name and contact information (address, phone, email)
  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
  • The specific URL(s) of the infringing content on Arara
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Counter-Notice

If your content was removed due to a DMCA notice and you believe it was removed in error, you may file a counter-notice. Send your counter-notice to dmca@arara.app with your name, contact information, a description of the removed content, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the content was removed in error.

Repeat Infringers

Arara will suspend or terminate accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights in appropriate circumstances.
