Arara is the Portuguese word for Macaw — the vibrant, highly intelligent bird native to Brazil and Central America. The Hyacinth Macaw (Arara Azul) is one of the rarest and most striking animals on the planet. We chose it as our symbol because we want Arara the platform to stand for the same qualities: rare quality, striking design, and intelligence in everything it does.
